O’REILLY (Dun Laoghaire and formerly of Glasthule, Co. Dublin) – September 3rd 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his family at St. Michael’s Hospital. John (Christopher); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Lelia, much loved and devoted father of Ali, John, Mick, Mary, Joseph and Shauna, grandad to Sean, Ava, Dylan, Aaron, Mia, Ciara, John, Ellie, Erin, Harris and Joules. Predeceased by his sisters Ann and Marie. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law Cara, Yvonne, Maria and Susie, sons-in-law Johnny and Shane, grandchildren, brothers Paul, Gerard and Robbie, sister Sue, extended family especially his brother-in-law Fr. Willie Brandon SMA Fathers, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home on Monday (Sept 8th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome).  Removal on Tuesday (Sept 9th) to St. Michael’s Church, Dun Loaghaire arriving for 10am Requiem Mass.  Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 arriving for 12noon cremation service, followed by private cremation.
