McAra Ian (William) - 22nd August 2026.

McAra (Ballybrack, Co. Dublin and formerly of Glasgow, Scotland) – August 22^nd 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Ian (William); dearly beloved husband of the late Eleanor, much loved and adored father of Ian, Linda, Gordon and Andrew.

Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, daughter-in-law Catherine, Ian and Gordon’s partners Alexandra and Tasica, grandchildren Adam, Sammi, Sean, Grace, Charlie and Emmie, sister Sheila, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Friday (August 28^th) from 5pm until 7pm (All Welcome).  Removal on Saturday (August 29^th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home arriving or 11.20am cremation service.
