VELLA (Ballybrack and formerly of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – April 27th 2023; (peacefully) surrounded by his family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. John (Johnny/Lash) (late of Water Dept D.L.R.C.C.); dearly beloved husband of Vera (My V), much loved father of Jessie, Johnny, Gary and Donna, devoted pappy to Tyrone, Erín, Lily, Séan and Bobby and pre-deceased by his sister Maureen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons, sons-in-law Lee and John, grandchildren, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, the Three Amigos Mal Long and Austin Connolly, relatives, friends and neighbours.
