Dublin and formerly of Glenamuck Cottages, Dublin18) – October 23rd 2021 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. John (Johnny / Bruiser Brennan); dearly beloved husband of the late Esther (Essie); much loved father of Teresa (New Zealand), Joan, Tricia, Susan (Germany), John (England) and David. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, daughter-in-law Alison, sons-in-law Ger, Eric, Peter and Richard, grandchildren Emma, Siobhan, Conor, Lia, Sarah Ellen, Aisling, Ronan and Alannah and great-grandson Anthony, his sister Maisie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his home on Saturday (October 30th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayer service at 6.45pm (strict guidelines in place). Removal on Monday (November 1st) to The Church of the Holy Family, Kill-o’-the-Grange arriving for 10.45am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium D6W HY98 arriving for 1pm Committal Service (seating capacity strictly 130 with no standing).
