Granville Road, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. 9th May 2021 HOBBS (Granville Road, Cabinteely, Dublin 18) – May 9th 2021 (peacefully but suddenly) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. James (Jimmy/JJ); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Lena, much loved father of Maria, Michelle, Karen, Gary, Derek, Celena, James and Ian, devoted grandfather of the late Kelly Anne, brother of the late Marie and father-in-law of the late Colin Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Peter, Pat and Colm, daughters-in-law Nicola, Tracey and Paula, grandchildren Katie, Karl, Mark, Steven, Joshua, Shauna, Conor, Lee, Abigail, Gemma, Liam, Eoin, Angel, Meghan, Bella, J.J., Jack, Declan and Morgan, great-grandchildren Cian, Cillian, Ava, Colm, Alex, Bobby, Grace and Arche, sister Ann, extended family and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday (May 14th) at 10am in The Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney (max 50 persons), followed thereafter by Cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
