GIBBONS Gerry - 16th May 2026

GIBBONS (Killiney, Co. Dublin and formerly of St. Brigid’s Park, Foxrock) – May 16th 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff in ICU at St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Gerry; dearly beloved husband of Mandy and the late Moira, brother of the late Madeline, Richard and David, much loved and devoted father of Jeremy, Sarah and Jake. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, mother-in-law Nellie, daughter-in-law Maria, son-in-law Will, his adoring grandchildren Eoin, Jack, Grace and Noah, sisters Kathleen, Geraldine, Sheila and Jo, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends especially four legged friend Toast.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Thursday (May 21st) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome). Removal on Friday (May 22nd) to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
