FIDGEON (née Dalton) (Ballybrack and formerly of Dalkey, Co. Dublin) – September 13th 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Ashford House Nursing Home, Dun Laoghaire. Irene (Rene); dearly beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved and adored mother of Vickey and Edward. Sadly missed by her loving daughter, son, daughter-in-law Gwen, son-in-law Philip, grandchildren Amy, Robyn, Sarah, Saul, Jessie and Jordan, great-grandchildren Molly, Teddy and Evie, her brother Pat, sister Audrey, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Wednesday (Sept 16th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome). Removal on Thursday (Sept 17th) to St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Deans Grange Cemetery.
