DODD (Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow) – February 15th 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff in the I.C.U. at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. James (Jimmy) (late of NRH, Dun Laoghaire); dearly beloved husband of the late Jane, much loved and devoted father of Denis, Geraldine, Michael, Paula, Jackie, Anne, Jimmy and Bryan. Predeceased by his brother Tom. Sadly missed by his loving children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister Mary, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O'Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Wednesday (Feb 18th) from 4pm until 6pm with prayers at 5.30pm (all welcome). Removal on Thursday (Feb 19th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within the Funeral Home arriving for 12.40pm Cremation Service.
