BYRNE (Killiney, Co. Dublin) – May 24th 2026 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his family. Vincent (Vinny) (late of British Embassy); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Ann, much loved and adored father of Sandra and Derek. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law Doreen, grandchildren Sarah, Ellie, Clara and James, his sisters Mary and Helen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Thursday (May 28th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome). Removal on Friday (May 29th) to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. We were so very sorry to hear the sad news of Vincent’s passing. We send prayers and many special thoughts to Ann, Sandra and Derek. We were very fond of Vincent, he was so kind to us, especially when we first arrived in Dublin and was always so cheerful and great fun to be with.
