Barry Ormond - June 17th 2024

ORMOND (Cabinteely, D18 and formerly of Roanmore, Waterford City) – June 17th 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the excellent care of the staff at Annabeg Nursing Home.  Barry (late of ESB); dearly beloved husband and best friend of 62 years to Anne, much loved father of Paul, Darina, Kieran, Brian and Barry and predeceased by his sister Annabelle and baby grandson James.  Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter and her partner John, sons and daughters-in-law Una, Jane and Tina, his 10 grandchildren Jack, Naoise, Grace, Niamh, Isabella, Helen, Aisling, Stan, Rian and Conn, brother Des, sisters Bernadette and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home of Thursday (June 20th) from 5pm with Prayer Service at 7pm (all welcome to attend).  Removal on Friday (June 21st) to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney A96 AY24 arriving for 10am Requiem Mass.  Funeral immediately afterwards to Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, Kilternan D18 X22C.  To view the Mass live click on this link https://churchservices.tv/johnstownourlady
