BARNES (Ballybrack and formerly of Rockford Park and Monkstown Farm, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – August 28^th 2026 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Simon (Simmie); dearly beloved husband of the late Kathleen, much loved and adored father of Brendan, Lisa and Simon Jnr. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, son-in-law Rory, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Monday (August 31st) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (All Welcome) Removal on Tuesday (1^st September) to the Church of St. Columbanus, Loughlinstown Drive arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass.
