SMITH Derek - 1st August 2026

SMITH (Shankill, Co. Dublin and formerly of O’Rourke Park, Sallynoggin) – August 1^st 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Derek, much loved and devoted father of Darren, Jennifer and Lyndsey. He will be very sadly missed by his loving children and their partners, his adoring grandchildren, great-grandson, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Tuesday (August 4^th) from 5pm until 7pm (All Welcome). Removal on Wednesday (August 5^th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel at the Funeral Home arriving for 12.30pm cremation service.
