McCARTHY (née Thorpe) (St. Begnet’s Villas, Dalkey, Co. Dublin) – April 29th 2026, (peacefully) after a short illness in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Susan (Sue); dearly beloved daughter of the late Paddy and Marie, much loved and devoted mother of Dawn, Alan and the late Leona. Sadly missed by her loving children, grandson Joel, sisters Maria and Jackie, brother Pa, brother-in-law Simon, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the family home in Dalkey on Monday (May 4th) from 3pm until 5pm (All Welcome). Removal on Tuesday (May 5th) to the Church of the Assumption, B.V.M, Dalkey arriving for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
