THOMPSON (Sallynoggin and late of Cumberland Street, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – July 19th 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by his family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. James (Slim) (Royal Irish Fusiliers); dearly beloved husband of the late Frances (Fran) (née Bell), much loved and adored father of Philip, Eric, Yvonne and Keith. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, son-in-law Declan, daughters-in-law Joan and Anne, grandchildren especially Kyle, great-grandchildren, sister Rose, brothers Billy and Gerard, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Monday (July 22nd) from 4pm to 6pm (all welcome to attend). A Celebration of James’s life will take place on Tuesday (July 23rd) at 2pm in St. Michael’s Chapel of Ease within the Funeral Home.
