Ballybrack, Co. Dublin. 5th August 2021 McGLONE (Ballybrack, Co. Dublin) – August 5th 2021 (peacefully) surrounded by his family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital following an illness. James (Jimmy); dearly beloved husband of Ann, much loved father of Brian, Kevin, Sinéad, Colm and the late Jacqueline. Sadly missed by his loving wife sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Tara, Debbie, grandsons Lee, Joshua, Rua and Conor, great-grandchildren Freddie and Indie James, Joshua’s fiancée Jennifer, his brothers and sisters Finola, Patricia, Cormac, Fiona and Aidan, and his many friends at his beloved Shamrock Rovers, especially Joe, Kevin and Peter. May he rest in peace. No flowers please. Donations if desired to the Laura Lynn Foundation. Donations may be made by going to https://www.lauralynn.ie Reposing at his home on Sunday (August 8th) and Monday (August 9th) from 3pm to 7pm, with strict Covid-19 restrictions in place. Removal on Tuesday (August 10th) at 1.30pm from his home to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W arriving for 2.30pm Civil Funeral Service. For those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to Covid-19 restrictions can leave a personal message on the condolence section below. The funeral cortège on route to the Mount Jerome Crematorium will pass Shamrock Rovers Grounds, Tallaght at approximately 2pm for those who would like to pay respects to Jimmy and family.
