THORNTON (Sallynoggin and formerly of Marian Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – December, 9th 2022 suddenly and unexpectedly at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. George; dearly beloved husband and best friend of Betty, much loved father of Ronald, Christine and David and loving grandfather to the late baby Holly. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Mandy and Mary, grandchildren Dylan, Elisha, Luke, Alannah, Ava, Lara, Jade and especially Jordan, his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A94 PW73 on Thursday (Dec 15th) from 4pm to 6pm with family present. Removal on Friday (Dec 16th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium Harold’s Cross D6W HY98 for 12.15pm Committal Service followed thereafter by cremation.
