O’REILLY (Dundrum, D16 and formerly of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – March 13th 2025, peacefully but unexpectedly at Tallaght Hospital. George (Joe); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Cathy (Kathleen); much loved and adored father of Sharon, David, Phillip and Stephen and predeceased by his brother Syl. He will very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughter, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, his 10 grandchildren, brothers Tony and Noel, sisters Elizabeth, Ger, Carmel, Veronica, Maureen, Jackie and Bernie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Wednesday (Mar 19th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.45pm (all welcome). Removal on Thursday (Mar 20th) to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin arriving for 12 noon Cremation Service.

Sorry very sorry to hear of George’s passing, he was such a lovely kind man , I worked with George in DCC for a number of years we had great times .Thinking of you Cathy and family at this very sad time , may he rest in peace 🙏
