Whitechurch Close, Ballyboden, Dublin 16 and formerly of Drumsna, Co. Leitrim September 20th 2021 GILL (Whitechurch Close, Ballyboden, Dublin 16 and formerly of Drumsna, Co. Leitrim) – September 20th 2021 suddenly but peacefully at Tallaght Hospital. Declan (Needy); dearly beloved husband of Geraldine (Ger), devoted dad to Stephen, Carl, Holly and the late James and baby Declan. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, mother Mary, Dad P.J., father-in-law Liam, brother Brendan, sister Geraldine, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace Reposing at his home on Friday (Sept 24th) from 5pm to 7pm with strict guidelines in place. Removal on Saturday morning (September 25th) to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer (Please comply with government health regulations) arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Kilmashogue Cemetery. For anyone that will attend the funeral a s a mark of respect to Declan can you please wear bright colourful clothing. For those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to Covid-19 restrictions can leave a personal message on the condolence section below.

 

Comments 21/09/2021 by Ronan Doyle Condolences to all of Declans family and friends. Declan was a gentleman of the highest calibre. He looked after my sons football team from academy to under 11s and will be missed by all at Broadford Rovers.
