CONNOLLY (née Ward) (Rocky Valley, Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Drumcondra, Dublin and late of Co. Longford) June 11th 2026 very peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the gentle and kind care of the Sisters and staff at Our Lady’s Manor Dalkey, Co. Dublin. Joan; dearly beloved wife of the late Patrick, devoted mother of Brian, Padraic, Frank, Anne-Marie and Suzanne, mother-in-law of the late Ronnie, grandmother of the late baby Owen and sister of the late Frank. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Lisa D, Siobhan and Lisa H, her grandchildren James, Ronan, Patrick, Gavin, Frank, Nina, Madeline, Anna-Mae, Grace and Tadgh, sisters and brothers Patricia, Eileen, Denis, Roley, Gay and Beatrice, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Friday (June 12th) from 5pm to 7pm (all welcome). Funeral Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday (June 13th) in St. Mochonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
