BYRNE (née O’Toole) (Kilcoole Co. Wicklow and formerly of Ashlawn Park, Ballybrack, Co. Dublin) – October 14th 2025, (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Lucy’s Ward at St. Vincent’s University Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Eileen; dearly beloved wife of the late John, much loved and adored mother of Sharon, Paul, Jennifer and Janet. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, son, daughter-in-law Denise, sons-in-law Stephen, Justin and John, grandchildren Shane, Garry, Darren, Katie, Jade, Damien and Rebecca, great-granddaughter Hayley, her brother Billy, sisters Colette and Rita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Thursday (Oct 16th) from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm (all welcome). A celebration of Eileen’s life will take place on Friday (Oct 17th) in St. Michael’s Chapel of Ease within the Funeral Home at 10.30am, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
