As strong player, a real gentleman and a credit to his club. RIP
Although Sean and I fought regularly together over the chessboard, he was always the gentleman regardless of the result and great company after the game. His fantastic laugh and the way he would say stop will stay with me forever. No tournament will be complete without you.
Goodbye Sean and rest in peace. The last time we chatted was in Bunratty many years ago during a chess tournament. We were the last to leave the bar one night and I really enjoyed your engaging personailty and intelligent conversation. The Irish chess scene has also lost a legend. My sincere condolences to Sean's family.
