January 25th 2022 LEANE (Cornelscourt, Foxrock, Dublin 18 and formerly of Donnybrook) – January 25th 2022 suddenly but peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park. John; dearly beloved husband of the late Rita and wonderful father to Martin, Michelle, Kieran and Vanessa, Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, daughter-in-law Dawn, grandchildren Jordan, Oisín, Chahel and Ava, sisters Lurline, Dymphna and Bridget, brother Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home Sallynoggin (opp. Sallynoggin Church) on Monday (January 31st) from 4pm to 6pm (all attending must still wear face coverings/masks and hand sanitise in line with current Government Covid-19 public health guidelines), Removal on Tuesday (February 1st) to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving for 10am Requiem Mass followed thereafter with interment at Deans Grange Cemetery. John was a long serving member of the Nestle Golf Society and took part in many of our outings over the years. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by all of the members.
