I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. I know Joanne from school, many years ago...(the other Joanne in the class) and more recently had been happy to renew contact, thanks to her energy in getting the class together again. Such an open, generous hearted easy to be with. My love and sympathy goes to her family Declan, Róisín, Sinéad, Michael, Kevin, Lesley. Rocky andJohn

Sincere sympathies to all - though I knew Joanne only through school kids and pals, meeting Joanne in any capacity made the day a bit better. A wise soul and a generous and authentic person - she will be missed.

Words never seem enough at times like these. Jo was an inspirational friend who made my time at Loughborough so much fun. Having watched her funeral service she’s leaving behind an inspirational family in whom her many amazing qualities will live on. Much love to you all Jo xx
