SMYTH (née King) (Brookfield, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – March 21st 2021 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Andrew’s Ward at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Eileen (Ei); dearly beloved wife of Brendan, much loved mother of Irene, Helen, Hazel, Mairéad and Brendan. Sadly missed by her loving husband, children, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, her 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place on Wednesday (March 24th) at 10am at the Chapel of Rest at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin, followed
thereafter by interment at Deans Grange Cemetery. For those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to Covid-19 restrictions can leave a personal message on the condolence section below.
A special word of thanks to all the staff at Dalkey Community Care Unit for all their kindness and care they have given to Eileen.
