NUGENT ( (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Wicklow. Declan (Deckie) (late of the National Ambulance Service); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Betty, much loved father of Siobhán, Dermot and Sarah, devoted grandfather and Gaga to Leah, Eva and Arlow. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son, daughter-in-law Jill, sons-in-law Stephen and John Patrick, grandchildren, sister Catherine, brother Ger, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours, his colleagues in the National Ambulance Service, especially Tony, John and Scotty.


May he rest in peace.


Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (opp. Sallynoggin Church) Monday (October 25th) from 4pm to 6pm with prayer service at 5.45pm (with strict guidelines in place). Removal on Tuesday (October 26th) to The Church of S.S. Alphonsus and Columba, Ballybrack Village A96 RD63 arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, D6W HY89 for 12.15pm Committal Service.

A kinder man you couldn’t meet. Declan you were truly a wonderful person and I have very fond memories of visiting with mam in Ballybrack. And also the times you visited us in Baldoyle. Betty you are in my thoughts and prayers and much love to my cousins - take care x Loraine.
