My deepest Condolences to Chris’s family. I have known Chris from Clondalkin rugby club for over 29 years since I was 12 years old . He was the heart of our club and I remember many nights in the club listening to Chris sing “ Oh darling do not foresake me “ I was taught how to be a a “ proper rugby tourist “ by Chris and I will miss him terribly . He was a true gentleman and he enriched the lives of all who know him .

A poem for Uncle Chris who we loved dearly A Successful Man By Bessie Anderson Stanley That man is a success – who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who leaves the world better than he found it; who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it.; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. You will always be in our thoughts and hearts Xx
